Plants I’m TRYING to grow [transplanting is overdue on first three]:
- cilantro - leaves turning purple; is it bolting? hmm…
- chives - new growth finally starting
- rosemary - thriving
- sweet potato - hasn’t sprouted yet, but it looks like something’s happening

[...] Grow [...]
Things I’d suggest trying in addition:
radishes (very quick to grow - great greens, too, when they’re fairly young)
scallions (more instant gratification than onions if you’re first starting out)
cherry tomatoes (I know you said you don’t like tomatoes, but have you had fresh grown?!!)
zebra stripe tomato (not your typical tomato)
basil (to go with the toms)
peas (they’re pretty and tasty - plant in late fall and early spring)
Good luck!!
