Happy birthday to meee….

In: Birthdays

1 Aug 2008

I used to wait all day for certain family members to remember my birthday, and then feel hurt when they forgot. What a waste of emotion. Now I just tell everybody and then, to make sure I get what I want, I ask for it.

Since money is an issue, and I really don’t need more things, I ask for time. I need help cleaning all the junk off my balcony so I can grow a proper little vegetable garden, so that’s what Robby’s giving me — when he gets his ass out of bed. As for Chris, I haven’t decided what to ask for yet. Maybe just a walk on the beach. That would be nice.

What are you going to ask for on your birthday?

About this blog

I'm not really famous. In case you were wondering. But I tried. I once believed that fame makes you real - a perversion of "The Velveteen Rabbit" theme that love makes you real. Guess I equated fame with love. Sad. You can read more about that here.
