People have been asking me, “How’s your knee doing?” and I am happy to report that I am alive and kicking–unlike some people. So yes, the knee is just fine. Finally. I’m tempted to inflict one more knee shot on the blogosphere as a contrast to the ugly, pus-filled pics already shown, but we all know what a healthy knee looks like, so I won’t. You’re welcome. [Note to self: PLEASE upload some other photos quickly to move those awful knee-shots off the screen.]

I was inclined to minimize the whole thing in spite of dire warnings from my ever-vigilant best friend, but the truth is that staph is nothing to sneeze at. If you get a cut or a scrape, don’t make my mistake. Clean it well and at the first sign of infection, see a doctor!
