The only other LaVonne I've actually met was in my high school home room. I'm 59, and you're the second one. Several people have told me they had friends or relatives with our name, though. That was in my home state of Minnesota, so maybe it was more common there at one time. I ran across a web site once that showed graphically how common names are by birth year, so I searched for Lavonne and found that the 20s and 30s were the big years for it; maybe there was a long-forgotten celebrity by that name at the time. Our parents most likely remembered the name from their childhoods and passed it along. My mother said she named me after the street I was conceived on, but there is no LaVonne Street in St. Paul, just LaFond. Although, 8 blocks is impressive. Don't worry about the red face and puffing, that will go away as you do more. the problem I get is sore feet, then it kills it. Long time since I've been to your site... Nice new look ha ha... I go to the YMCA every day, mostly to shower and clean up.... But I also exercise some pretty often.... Yea, we have to keep going or we won't be able ha ha.... The walkers are in thee every morning at 5 am, some on treadmills and others on the track outside.... I mostly exercise with the basketball and swim and do some weights.... Anyway nice to see you again.... John Hi Born….
