All the laundry was still drying on the rack and I needed to drive R&E to a movie, so I had to put on an old pair of non-stretch slacks that I quit wearing two years ago because they were getting too tight and uncomfortable. I know I’ve been gaining weight, but I figured I could get away with not zipping them under my big, baggy jacket.

Guess what? They fit perfectly–better than before!
