I heard about a woman who had many of those symptoms this weekend, after going to tens of doctors she found one who would do a toxicology test on her and found she had lead, chromium, lithium and other metal poisioning. She was a landscape painter and not using gloves when mixing the paints, had taken so much metal into her system she was very ill.
It took almost a year of special diets and liver cleaners to get back to normal, she was walking with a frame, and her liver had shut down, they thought she had lukemia so were treating her with radiation, which only made the metals even more toxic. (it was in her bones too)
After 18 months she can walk now and the pains have gone.

Some times it can be your hobby that gets you…
Sounds like many people I know. You’re right that hobbies can be dangerous.
