The Blog of Death
Feb 28th, 2004 by bornfamous
When I worked at ABC News, I was surprised to discover that one of my favorite duties was to write an obituary when someone famous died. Favorite, because it gave me an opportunity to remember the dearly departed’s life and to revisit what it was about them that made all our lives better. I often thought I would have enjoyed being an obituary writer for a newspaper, but let’s face it, I’m too lazy to write more than a paragraph or two on any given subject; hence the radio [and now, the blog] thing. So it should follow that obituaries would be my subject in the blogosphere, and I have written one or two, but someone else beat me to it.
