Young love, part 2
Robby’s new girlfriend is sleeping five feet from me. He’s gone to school. A week ago, my son was happily dazed in first-love. Now, E. is staying with us for a few days while her parents await a paycheck in their car so they can get another motel room.
I’m happy to be able to help. I like her. But I’m feeling backed into a corner [again] by lack of privacy and the usual laundry issues, i.e., detergent and fabric softener in her clothes that make me sick. I’ve washed them, but it’s still a problem.
Thank heavens Wednesday is almost here.
