2500 Words
Oct 20th, 2003 by bornfamous
I’ve decided to go back to an old technique I learned from a writing teacher many years ago: write 2500 words a day–any words, every day. It’s a lot like Julia Cameron’s Morning Pages, and it’s a good way to jump start change. I started yesterday. Hopefully, it will get me in shape for NaNoWriMo, but I’m not guaranteeing anything:
So I’m trying to figure out which voice to listen to–the one that says, “Do this,” or the one that says, “Don’t.” I’m going a little crazy here. I get in these ridiculous little arguments with myself about which one to listen to, which makes yet a THIRD voice in my head. [Not really. Don't worry, I know it's all me in here--me, myself and I--and the voices aren't telling me to kill anyone, okay?] –More…

Type Bob’s book–in this case the only voice you need to listen to is the voice that made the agreement–it is keeping one’s word that makes the world just a bit safer and predictable–you will never believe (in) your self if you do not keep your word to others. only 500+ words to go today–and then to work on Bob’s book
My Best Frank

I’m glad you found that voice–I have a lot of confidence in you–thanks for the blogs and your honesty–Frank
You’re funny and smart and can write.
Having something to say is always the hard part cos of all those things that stop you from starting.
Thanks for your note on mayibefrank.typepad.com. Know what you mean about coming up for air after being on the internet makes you feel fuzzy.
thanks candygirl. :o] i have plenty to say, i just keep forgetting what it was.
A poem for my sweetie pie.
The early morning calm,
is enhanced by thee,
my sweet LaVonne,
especially,
if you move sweetly and quiet,
and enhance your energy,
and YOGA today.
A subtle curve of the back,
a limb outstretched,
a thought of love and time of sighing,
make LaVonne more shapely,
and ready to enlighten.
Do your YOGA today,
do your YOGA tomorrow,
and blessed you will be,
with a love sonnet.
