Getting rid of Granny Smith

Can someone please suggest a better color scheme for this site? I’m really hating all this green. I like the lighter green on the sidebars, but that apple green up top has got to go. Any suggestions for the color-challenged?

ok thanks, but i wanted more specific suggestions. i have color schemer–actually paid for it, which i never do–but it’s not telling me what to do, you know? i’m feeling a need for more hands-on direction here.

drop the greens unless you go to a green that has richer tones of blue–I am weak on color names–I just know that this does not work–I will be watching Frank

Hmmmmm I like all colors of course, but if anything I would have thought to go warmer on top. The side bars seem like a sort of parchment or celery color. That’s what they look like on my screen anyway. The top bar doesn’t look granny smith-ish but rather a medium-light sappish/olive color.

As with all things color – do what makes you feel good.

Great, now I’m getting paranoid about my own site. Clearly I have no advice to offer, although I can see Blues working well here.

About this blog

I'm not really famous. In case you were wondering. But I tried. I once believed that fame makes you real - a perversion of "The Velveteen Rabbit" theme that love makes you real. Guess I equated fame with love. Sad. You can read more about that here.
